PDF to DWG Conversion Service
Task:
The new dwg drawings to be generated from the pdf files were including the red markup to be incorporated for as-build drawing of the mechanical layout. This company has never outsourced any dwg conversion project to India before.
The pdf drawing details were including the architectural background, along with mechanical equipment dimensions and installation details. Piping GA drawings were also to be considered for the overall pdf to dwg conversion services. Total of approx 10 nos of A0 Drawing + 15 Nos of A1 size drawings were to be completed for this project.
Chemionix Approach & Deliveries:
Our engineering team studied the task data available to us form of high resolution scan image drawings. The methodology for preparing the .dwg drawing was understood properly by regular correspondence with our client, given briefly as below:
- Standard client template was provided to us to be used.
- Accurate layering information was discussed and implemented.
- Methodology for preparing the drawing on true scale in model space and subsequent paper space scaling & views discussed.
- Information about the text type, line width, layer color code, hatch patter, dimension indication were exchanged.
Preliminary drawing generated was sent for client approval. Suggestion were marked & informed to us. The suggested changes were implemented by our team, and the project was successfully completed in less than 4 week as per desired timeframe.
